Could you imagine someone paid near hkd 70,000 for one knitted scarf?

In 2019, there is a ‘rail delay scarf’ created by a German commuter Claudia Weber.

The scarf is encoded with colour:grey represents her delay had been less than five minutes, pink meant the delays of between five and 30 minutes, while red signified the delay of more than 30 minutes or had been delayed both directions (Schultheis, 2019).

It has sold for €7,550 (~ HKD 70,000) and is now stored in the museum of the German railway company Deutsche Bahn. The money is being donated to a charity Bahnhofs Mission.
